I was born in a hunter family in the northern region of Sweden where dogs were such a big part of my family. When I was a little boy my father used to take me with him when he was out hunting. It was pretty much everything from elk to waterfowl. As hunters we were (and still are) extremely dependent on our dogs and this was where I started to become interested in dogs. There was a Norwegian Elkhound that was my favourite during the period that I went to a kindergarten. It was this dog that I used to walk a long walk with. This particular dog was an amazing elkhound that herded many elk including the ones that my father trapped.
One other breed that was kept in the family was the Swedish breed Hamilton Stövare. Since then I have had Rottweiler and Briard but I have liked Shih Tzu which is a very happy and friendly breed. Which breeds do I breed? I have had Shih Tzus since mid. 1970 but the breeding started in 1979. My first kennel name/prefix was “Bombers” but I started to breed under the kennel prefix “Adorenaline” after a separation from my former partner. I have bred and owned 23 champions including 3 World Winners. The first dog that won the Champion of Champion 1983 in Sweden was owned by me. In 1994 one other dog of mine won the Veteran of Veterans. Me and my partner owned and showed the top winning toy/utility dog in Sweden for nearly 10 years in the late -80 and – HANS ALMGREN 90’. Still one of my dogs have the record with group wins with more than 55 group 9 first placements. I have been certified by the Swedish Kennel Club to judge since 1995.
I have always judged in accordance to the FCI’s rules and followed the regulations since then. In addition, I have judged several times in many countries in Europe, Japan, Thailand, Australia, Brasil and New Zealand. Today I am certified to judge all breeds and all FCI groups/allrounder since June 2015. I have been judging at the Circuit together with the World Dog Show in Stockholm 2008 and at Special clubs in many countries as well on several Int Championship shows every year during the last 20 years. I have been judging several times CC shows in The United Kingdom and accepted to give CC to 9 breed in the UK.
