In the mean time already I have now more than 60 years’ experience with dogs.
My first dog was a English Cocker Spaniel.
When I married we became us first Irish Setter and a few years later the second Irish Setter, and a Gordon Setter.
The first Field Spaniel I seen was in 1976. From that time I now this is the breed watt I like to have, after a half year we became our first Field Spaniel Shipden Bittersweet.
She works very well but showing only if she like. With here we did the first litter, from this litter are 3 champion and 2 dogs have a lot of prices in the field.
My second bitch was Coralmist Cascade, I think she was a top Field for the breed, she became more than 45 CC. After that time we became more Field Spaniels from England and Finland
I did working (field trail) and showing with the Irish Setter and with the Field Spaniel.
With the Field Spaniels we breed some litter in the last 25 year. We breed 24 Sh. Ch. and 9 Field Spaniels are Working Ch. And we have in Holland the first Field Spaniel who was Show and Working Champion we call it Int. Champion, this is in Holland very hard to take this title.
After the dead of my husband I stop with breeding, because if you like to do this correct ,you can’t do this alone.
Before I’m going to learn for judge I have work in a kennel 10 years. This kennel have Irish and Gordon Setters, Teckel and a border kennel.
My first breed exams was the Irish Setter, this was in 1981, after that time I have learn for more breeds and from November 2011 I’m a all-round judge and very proud to be the first woman ever in the Netherlands.
In time I did 25 year working in the comity of the Irish Setter club in Holland 12 year secretary, organise the CC show and was President of the breeders for the Irish Setter club 22 years.
I have judging experience over the world and I did judging different club shows for Spaniels in England, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Norway all with tickets.
My special breeds are always the English Gundogs. Teckel and all the hounds.
But I love to judge all the other breeds it give me always a interest and joy to learn all other people and way they have this special breeds.
About all the years I love to learn a lot of people and judging an going to show it give me a joy of live.
At the moment I’m doing the secretary of the CAC/CACIB show from Maastricht the HTM. On this time I help new judges with the study of different breeds.
